This is my first pair of Saucony's and they are the best shoes out there. I have been an Asics wearer for the last 8 years but recently started getting foot cramps wearing my 2150s. I have one flat foot and I am a slight pronater and I'm over 250 pounds. I walk for excercise every day. After getting these bad boys I went from walking a couple miles a day to 3 or 4 miles and no foot cramping whatsever.
Highlights of this shoe are big toe box, great stability, and the built in sock liner adds extra comfort. Absolutely no break in period. Just put this puppies on and you are good to go.

This is my 6th or so pair of the Omni's. I started running in them years ago and I have expanded to a few other shoes too for certain conditions I still have a pair of these. These are my usual road running shoes. I take them on trails too, but usually more asphalt. My last few pairs have at least 600+ miles on them. I now have trail running shoes, but until I started by trail shoes I used this series on my trail races. I have done 50k and 50 mile races in this series of shoe along with plenty of 5k races as well. They have always been dead on my size of 10.5 and the toe box is wider than some other shoes I have tried on at times. I will likely keep a pair of these in my running shoes lineup as long as Saucony keeps making them. If you are focused more on shorter races you could do with a light shoe, but this one has a good combination of weight/cushioning in my book. I'm about 185 lbs and shoes with less cushioning always come back to haunt me it seems.

I have worn Saucony for going on twenty years now and love them. I have never had a better running shoe and at such a price. I will say that they are getting progressively more expensive, but I consider it worth the money to have. The only reason I gave it 4 of 5 this time is because of a slight defect in the back heel area at the top of the shoe, the inner lining and the outside were sewn improperly and after wearing them once and not noticing I put them on and noticed. I corrected the problem by pulling up on end of heel piece and it broke loose the threads that were bunching up the inner lining. Now they fit like a glove, just like every other pair I have owned. No break in time necessary, just put them on and go for a run.
